Vans was born in 1966 from a man named Paul Van Doren who had strongly
intention to invent the shoes in his own ways. Based on the experience over 20
years, he has previously worked in a shoe factory. Vans has created the
first factory in California that was the beginning of a legendary of “Street
Wear” shoes throughout the world.

that time, vans were still less popular. Until the early 70’s, skateboard was
the famous sport among teenagers. It was very popular everywhere in America at
that time. Also Tony Alva, Stacy Peratta, famous skaters and their lackeys were
hunting for great shoes to playing board. And they lastly found the Vans
which become so popular ever since and widespread to all street fashion around
the world.
Accidentally,
the phrase "Off the Wall" was pleasant to the ear of Steve Vans Doren
who totally took over the business. Then he took this sentence as a good chance
by putting it on the shoes’ heels. So, that’s the origin of the word "Vans
Off the Wall", famous phrase that was remembered in our sense.
Therefore,

because it was chic and cool from time to time and never out-of-date. With the excellent
materials and classic designs but very good looking, Vans were suddenly known
in shoes market. And eventually, they were quickly spread worldwide. Vans
